FlipCard Learn

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

FlipCard Learn is a local-first vocabulary practice app. It is designed to work without accounts, tracking, advertising, analytics, or server-side storage of your flashcards.

Information we collect

FlipCard Learn does not collect personal data from the iOS app. The app does not create user accounts, does not use third-party analytics, and does not send your flashcards to a remote server.

Flashcard data

Cards, notes, progress, completed-card status, and onboarding preferences are stored locally on your device. If you use the web version, this data is stored locally in your browser for the current domain. Deleting the app, clearing browser storage, or clearing site data may delete this local data.

Clipboard import

The app can import JSON that you paste or copy into the app. This content is processed locally to create cards. The app does not upload imported vocabulary to FlipCard Learn servers.

AI features

FlipCard Learn does not call an AI provider directly. It can copy a prompt template that you may use with an external AI service. Any information you provide to that external service is governed by that service's own privacy policy.

Hosting and support website

The public website and support pages are hosted by Vercel. Vercel may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and URL requested to operate and secure the website.

Children's privacy

FlipCard Learn is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated before or alongside the relevant app update.
